AOL Hires Adman Jeff Levick Away from Google

aol_160x120AOL has hired Jeff Levick away from Google. He will be head of global advertising and strategy.

Levick replaces Greg Coleman, formerly of Yahoo. Coleman lasted three months — he replaced Lynda Clarizio.

Levick was most recently Google’s veep of industry development and marketing, the Americas. He was with the search engine juggernaut for eight years. He is a board director for the Search Engine Strategies conference series.

The hire comes as Time Warner prepares to spin-off AOL. Google’s Tim Armstrong was recently brought on as CEO.
