Draftfcb, one of the world’s largest marketing communications agencies, has been recognized as the best large company to work for in the state by The Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers and The Business Ledger.
It’s the agency’s second year on the “Best Companies to Work For in Illinois” list. Draftfcb was among 30 companies honored for its workplace practices.
Honorees were selected based on employee surveys and anonymous interviews. To be eligible, companies were required to be a for-profit, not-for-profit or government organization that had been in business for at least one year; have a facility in the state of Illinois; and employ at least 25 people in the state.
The agency was twice being named one of the “101 Best and Brightest Places to Work in the Chicagoland area” by The National Association of Business Resources, and one of the Top 20 places to work in Chicago by Crain’s Chicago Business.
The Draftfcb network spans 98 countries, with more than 9,700 employees worldwide.
Draftfcb is one of the largest global advertising agency networks with headquarters in both Chicago and New York. It is owned by Interpublic Group and was formed by the 2006 merger of Foote, Cone & Belding and Draft. The origins of Draftfcb date back to 1873, with the opening of the Lord & Thomas ad agency, which would later become Foote, Cone, & Belding.
