Santa Monica, California-based digital media firm Ascent Media Group has announced the addition of two key executives.

Douglas Parrish joins as executive vice president of operations, from Utah’s Move Networks, where he was vice president, operations & development. He will oversee Ascent’s core media management systems integration and content distribution services. He was also executive vice president and chief technology officer at the Walt Disney Internet Group.

Drake Pruitt joins as senior vice president of business development. He will identify supply chain solutions for global media companies, content aggregators, distributors and digital service providers. He was the founder of Disruptive Works Media, and CEO of software firm Bocada.

Ascent Media Group, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ascent Media Corporation. Ascent Media Group provides fully integrated, end-to-end services for the global digital media supply chain through 40 facilities worldwide.
